Vision

The RIPAMs are both meetings and a network of people and institutions working for the knowledge and preservation of the Mediterranean architectural and urban heritage.

The RIPAM community includes academics, professionals and administrators sharing this common scientific, cultural and valorization interest.

This RIPAM community organizes conferences called “RIPAM”, which are privileged channels for exchanging ideas and presenting research, achievements, valorization.

The objectives are:

– Know and make known the Mediterranean architectural and urban heritage, participate in its preservation, its transmission to future generations and its development, within the framework of heritage studies and policies closely linked to the issues of the contemporary Mediterranean world.

– Ensure high scientific value, a diversity of approaches with the affirmation of a Mediterranean community and respect for the specificities of each one.

– To favor exchanges and sharing experiences between the two shores.
